About the park: Turf Fields
No pets
No outside food or beverage
Concession stand
No prohibition on tailgating
Entrance fee into park
Many vendors

Directions:

Take I-5 North to Redding
Take Hwy 44 East/Lassen Peak Hwy (towards Lassen Park) Exit 678 and go about 3.7 miles
Take Airport Road Exit
At stop light, take a left onto Airport Road.
Continue straight on Airport Road as it changes to Old Oregon Trail and go just over a mile.
Redding Sports Park is on the left

Free lacrosse clinics by Lorne Smith Lacrosse Saturday at 11a & 1p Saturday (see below for more information)

Weather:
Historically Redding is very cold and windy at this time of year. The forecast is for “breezy” with temps in the mid-50s to 60s. Dress warm and then warmer (some people bought hand warmers last year and found them very useful).

11:00 am Team Defense Clinic (Bill Tierney style from Princeton in the 1990s)

a. 1v1 (body position, stick position)
b. 2v2 (off ball help position, playing picks on ball and off ball, communication)/div>
c. 3v3 (1st slide, 2nd slide, communication)
d. 6v6 (look away, imaginary crease)
e. Playing against a circle

1:00 pm Teaching Off Ball Movement Clinic

a. 2v2 – Clearing Space, on ball picks, hunting the ball
b. 3v3 – balance, picking off ball, for attack and for mids
c. Survival Drill – 2 man inside game – cuts, fades, seal, pops
d. 5v5 – bringing it all together in a freelance way
